So I have finished my classes and finals for sophomore year and just finished the long trip back to Virginia. Unlike most of the people I know, I am not settling back into life at home because in a little over 48 hours, I will be on my way to Accra. There is a lot that needs to be done between now and then. I have to figure out what to bring and locate it amid all the stuff I brought from school. My room is going to be a mess for the next 48 hours as I try to sort everything out.

| College+Ghana=a mess |
| Too much packing and unpacking to do |
| Kellogg life-handbooks and packets |
| Gift for my host family-Go Irish |
I am very excited about my trip, but the closer I get to leaving, the more frightening this experience becomes. I am used to being the girl who blends in. I have gone to private schools in good areas and I have been the generic white girl. I am going to stand out. It is so foreign, it is hard to comprehend. Over the next 48 hours, I am going to try and get some quality time in with my family and finish with my packing.
